A different language holds the evening each night, with the presenter working in that language and in English so nobody in the room is locked out.

About this station
Sukh Radio is one station on the network, not the network itself. It is the mixed language stream: a single running order that crosses between the languages our listeners actually live in, so nobody has to pick a station before they can hear anything. Mornings lean devotional and gentle, the middle of the day opens up, and evenings hand the whole schedule to one language at a time. Programmed in Melbourne for the kitchen radio that three generations share and nobody gets to own. Radio AU is where you see every station at once and choose between them. This is the one you leave on when nobody wants to choose.
Through the day
All times Australian Eastern.
Programmes
Songs that travel: a folk melody turned into a film song, a ghazal reworked as pop, the same tune in four languages.
One household at a time. We sit with a family and build the hour out of what that kitchen already plays, oldest listener to youngest, in whatever mix of languages they use between themselves. It is not sorted by language, because a household is not sorted by language either. What you hear is one kitchen's own order, not a request list.
