Sukh Pop Desi

New Desi pop, playlisted daily, streaming out of Melbourne.

This station is not streaming yet. The schedule below is what is planned, and this player starts working the moment the stream goes live.

About this station

Sukh Pop Desi is where the current sound lives: bright synth production, Punjabi and Hindi hooks, trap-leaning low end and the kind of chorus that survives a car park. We playlist new releases fast and keep the tempo up through the working day, then hold the evening ourselves: peak hour tempo at five, a slower current release hour after eight, and an unbroken overnight with nobody talking across it. Continuous mixing, blended sets with no breaks between the records, is Sukh Party Mixes' job rather than ours.

Through the day

All times Australian Eastern.

Morning ChargeUptempo new releases and the biggest hooks in current rotation, to move you out the door.
Playlist AddsThe adds hour. Every record that goes into rotation is played here in full, back to back, each one introduced with the reason it earned the slot.
The Fresh CutFirst plays and new-artist spotlights, with a listener vote at the end of each hour.
Drive DesiPeak-hour tempo, big choruses and bilingual singles built for a full freeway.
Slow DesiSlower, R and B leaning Desi pop, all of it from the current release cycle. The nostalgia end of the evening belongs to Salaam-E-Zindagi.
Overnight LoopContinuous current pop, no talk, running straight through to the morning.
